Testimonial

"I am really enjoying the QiYoga Instructors course. QiYoga feels incredibly energising and relaxing at the same time. It is a fantastically well rounded and thought out style of yoga, which is quite different to any other I have tried before. During and after practice I can’t help smiling and feeling like I’m walking on air, no matter what had been troubling me beforehand. The vinyassas, sun salutations and asanas of hatha yoga combined with the meridian tapping, postures and healing of Qi Gong are woven together to create a flowing class which seems to result in feelings of physical, mental and spiritual well being. Fiona’s teaching brings something quite special to the class, she is a person who emanates joy, and this is infectious.

Her classes are thorough as well as enjoyable. As a teacher she is kind, patient and is a truly inspiring person who has a deep understanding of Yoga and Qi Gong and of the cultures that these disciplines were born from. She manages to communicate the concepts and information we encounter on the course in a way I think everyonecan understand. Qi Yoga combines Daoist and yogic schools of thought and through the course I have learnt a great deal about these two cultures.

From a physical perspective we are learning how to use modifications and variations to suit every student. I like the fact that we are learning a style of yoga teaching that does not exclude anyone. Fiona explains carefully how to adapt QiYoga to people with a range of physical needs.

I find the course to be wellorganised and structured while also being flexible and considerate of individual situations of each student. I feel that Fiona would bend over backwards to help any student who needed extra time, help or questions. I am so happy to have found this course, it has already brought so much to my own yoga practice and the way I look at the world. I look forward to being able to pass this on to others in the future." Emma Watts
